Amalia Otero - Maid of Honor

Amalia and Clarissa have known each other since 3rd grade. From birthdays and graduations to hard times in life, Amalia has always been there to support Clarissa. Their bond is strengthened by culture and arts. They both enjoy dishing over the latest period classic and traveled to New York together on an art immersion trip. Back in the day, they could always be found at the latest Harry Potter premier. They always pick up right where they left off whenever they get together. Amalia lives in Washington D.C. and has become quite the chef and mixologist in her spare time.

Jessica Taff - Bridesmaid

Jessica and Clarissa have known each other since 3rd grade. Their bond is strengthened by their sense of humor and their extra-curricular activities. In high school, they were in marching band together. During band practice breaks, Jessica, Amalia and Clarissa would refresh and refuel at Jessica's house. It was always hard to rest because when they were together, they would make each other laugh until they couldn't breathe. Jessica now lives in Birmingham, AL and is an amazing elementary school teacher.

Rebekah King - Bridesmaid

Rebekah and Clarissa met through the Charlotte Knights where Nathan and Drew (Rebekah's husband) worked together. However, their bond didn't grow until Rebekah and Drew moved to Winston-Salem when Nathan and Clarissa lived there. From there, Rebekah became like family and is now a daily consult for Clarissa. Rebekah and Clarissa enjoy going to vineyards and chatting about wedding plans. Rebekah is also one of Clarissa's boating buddies and loves to get out on the lake. Rebekah lives in Kernersville, NC and is a fantastic hand letterer and crafter.

Melissa Griswold - Bridesmaid

Melissa and Clarissa met through their mutual friend Rebekah. Instantly, they all became friends and started hanging out weekly Melissa and Clarissa chat daily about anything from work issues to the latest episode of This Is Us. Melissa and Clarissa enjoy hiking together and hosting games nights and football viewing parties. As part of Clarissa's North Carolina family, Melissa is always up for an exciting adventure. Melissa lives in Winston-Salem, NC and loves to horseback ride.

Elizabeth Gioia - Bridesmaid

Elizabeth is dating Clarissa's brother, Baines. She has been such a great addition to the Deal family. Her sarcastic quick-witted sense of humor and love for the arts makes her fit right in. She has spent time over the holidays and on weekend trips with the family, and she always brings them joy. Elizabeth lives in Birmingham, AL and is a talented sculptor and artist.

Jaclyn Caragian - Bridesmaid

Jaclyn is Clarissa's soon to be sister-in-law through Nathan's brother Danny. Clarissa and Jaclyn have spent time together on family trips and holidays. They both have a strong love for their dogs and constantly share pictures of them with each other. Jaclyn was a big part in helping Clarissa pick a venue for the wedding day. Jaclyn and Danny are currently taking the time to live in different places within the United States, expanding their culture and love for travel. Jaclyn has traveled to 25 countries.

Danny Tessler - Best Man

Danny is Nathan's older brother. Danny has always been there to help Nathan. He encourages Nathan to be the best at what he does. Their bond is strengthened by their love of sports, their dogs, food, and alcohol (preferably all at once at the dog bar). They enjoy ranting to each other about their sports teams and watching action movies. Danny and his fiancée Jaclyn are currently taking the time to live in different places within the United States, expanding their culture and love for travel. Danny read 37 books in 2020.

Max Cryns - Groomsman

Max and Nathan met in college during their first semester abroad in London. Once they returned, they became roommates for most of college. Their bond is strengthened by their mutual love/hate relationship for the New York Giants. Chatting almost every day via text, they enjoy talking about the latest Marvel movies and the conspiracy theories associated with them. Max lives in Astoria, NY and he is a fantasy football commissioner.

Alex Denk - Groomsman

Alex and Nathan met in elementary school. Living a few minutes from each other, they hung out all the time. Growing up, their bond was strengthened by football and video games. While they still like those things, they now mostly look forward to getting together and eating at their favorite childhood restaurants. They have regular conversations about which Trat pizza slices they will have the next time they are home. Alex lives in Manhattan and has run the New York City Marathon.

Jordan Cohen - Groomsman

Nathan and Jordan grew up living across the street from each other and have known each other since they were born. At a young age, they loved Pokémon. Through their teen years they were good friends hanging out often and enjoying birthday parties and bar mitzvahs together. Now they chat to catch up on life and work. Nathan got to visit Jordan in San Francisco in 2019. Jordan lives in LA and works for Google.

Brendan Wakeham - Groomsman

Brendan and Nathan met in college during their first semester abroad in London. Once they returned, they became roommates for most of college. Their bond is strengthened by football and love of food. They also both love corgis. Brendan has a corgi named Jack, and Nathan and Brendan like to compare their corgi’s personalities. Brendan lives in Panama City Beach, FL. He is an executive chef and a brand-new dad.

Baines Deal - Groomsman

Baines is Clarissa's brother. Baines and Clarissa are close, so she was thrilled when Baines and Nathan hit it off. Nathan and Baines love to crack jokes, especially about Clarissa. Baines can make the family laugh until they are crying, so they love having him around. Baines and Clarissa's bond is strengthened by their love of music. One day, they hope to write a Broadway play together. Baines lives in Birmingham, AL, and started the E-sports club at the high school where he teaches. Yes, he gets paid to play video games. Take that, Mom!

Drew DeMarcantonio - Chupah Holder

Drew and Nathan worked at the Charlotte Knights together. Long nights working baseball games is where their friendship began but they became closer when Drew and his wife Rebekah moved to Winston-Salem, NC. The two couples became great friends and they now hang out regularly. Even though they root for rival teams, Eagles and Giants, they enjoy watching football together and hitting up Applebee's for bottomless appetizers. Drew lives in Kernersville, NC and is a director of video production at Wake Forest.

Smith Griswold - Chupah Holder

Smith and Nathan met through their mutual friend Drew. The three regularly hang out to watch sports. Smith likes to join Nathan and Clarissa on the boat, and Smith taught Nathan how to ride a jet ski for the first time. Growing up in NC, Smith is Nathan and Clarissa's go to guide for all North Carolina questions. Smith lives in Winston-Salem, NC, and he is a human GPS. Seriously, he can find his way anywhere without using a GPS system.
